個人ボランティアとして最初は塩竃市へ入り瓦礫に撤去から始めニーズが落ち着いてきて多賀城市がボランティアが足りないことを聞き、多賀城市へ活動場所を移し瓦礫の撤去をしていましたが当時は2週間くらいで東京へ戻ろうとしていましたが自転車ボランティアの人手が足りないことを聞き自転車ボランティアを手伝い、館内ボランティアの子供ランド責任者から手伝って欲しいといわれ運営を手伝い始めました、多賀城に活動を移した当初から同じように『出来ることを少しずつ』という考えや活動し志の同じボランティアと共に連携し活動することにしました。
復興支援コーディネーター蓮笑とは、災害初期の緊急支援をはじめ、今後の長期に渡る復興支援においても地域住民や自治体の方々と共に必要なことを提供するという信念のもと、自分達にできることを継続して活動していく予定です。
今後の長期的活動にあたり、、一地方での活動だけでなく、他地域・他方面、同じような現地ボランティアとの連携や支援を進め今回の大震災復興支援を広域展開していく所存です。

この団体は、高齢者、障害者を対象として、訪問実態調査を行い、訪問介護・家事援助等の介護保険法に下ずく在宅支援サービス事業や外出援助事業、介護ボランティア紹介などの支援事業を行うことで、高齢者、障害者が地域社会の中で自立した生活が送れる社会の実現に寄与することを目的とする。
この団体は、広く一般市民を対象として、特に青少年に対して、市民スポーツ大会の開催、スポーツ指導者の派遣、公共スポーツ施設の整備・運営等スポーツの振興を図る事業を行うことで、特に青少年に対してはスポーツを行うことで、心身共に健全で健やかな育成を促し、生涯に渡りスポーツを楽しみ、健康に暮らせる社会の実現に寄与することを目的とする。
